Old Manor Cottage

Visit Upton House

Get a taste of country house life as you step into the home of a 1930s' millionaire, and passionate art collector. Visitors can enjoy internationally important works by artists such as Hogarth, Stubbs, Canaletto, Brueghel and El Greco.

The garden comes alive with colour from the spring. See the new lovely spring shade on the terrace and a pink, white and blue colour scheme in Lady Bearsteds garden.

First to flower are the daffodils

The orchard is filled with the cheerful yellow glow of narcissi. An often missed part of the garden, follow the drive past the restaurant entrance and head through the gate on your right to the orchard. Take a seat in the portico and admire the carpet of daffodils under the apple trees.

Victory colours in Lady Bearsted's garden

New for 2016, in celebration of our victory year, we have planted our tulips in only three colours – pink, white and blue. In contrast to the Dig for Victory planting in the kitchen gardens nearby, Lady Bearsted's garden will be sporting a very ladylike show of pinks, whites and blues.

Spend that day at Upton House and then come and spend the evening relaxing at the Old Manor Cottage, Halford. Call us on 01789 740264 to check for the latest availability.
